Self-paced learning pathway
Machine Learning for Non-Technical Learners
A concept map for a machine learning curriculum designed for learners without a technical background. Organizes modules, topics, and assessments into a clear, dependency-aware learning pathway.
Data structure
A three-level curriculum tree — Course, Module, Outcome — plus a Technologies module containing real-world AI products. Prerequisite edges show the order concepts must be learned; "applies" edges connect each product to the specific outcomes that underlie it.
Entity types
- CourseThe overall ML course for non-technical learners.
- ModuleThematic units (e.g., Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Ethics).
- OutcomeIndividual learning objectives within each module.
- Tech ProductReal-world AI products (Waymo, ChatGPT, Claude, Spotify, etc.).
Edge types
- RequiresOutcome A must be mastered before outcome B.
- AppliesA tech product applies — and is built on — a specific learning outcome.
